Questions & Answers

Is this rated for a certain amount of weight? Can you tell me what the weight limit is?

While it isn't specified as to how much weight it is meant to handle, a 55 gallon drum filled with water, sand, and lime moved effortlessly without any strain on the dolly. Concrete floors are, of course, suitable for this product. The tool works well with plywood to move full barrels over grass with little trouble.

In the instructions, it says "grip the drum with the handle" but how do you do that? Even if I don't figure it out right after posting this question, I want to make sure I don't make the mistake again. ?

With the curved plate facing down, the rubber grips of the handle are located on top of the drum. Handle the drum by pressing it toward the top lip of the curved plate so that the curved plate grips the Push your foot into the footwell of the caddie and lift the handle of the caddie (opposite of the rubber grips) a little bit. This tips the drum up slightly. Once you have the caddy in your hands, simply put the handle back on.

Do you know if you can roll it up an incline or use it as ?

The equipment that I use to move detergent drums has proven to be extremely helpful to me. I would not recommend a steep incline, but there are some that go up an inclined path. My usual method is to take it up the ramp and put it in *br>Those drums I tote are a couple hundred pounds each. As a hand truck, it is not what I would call handy, but when it comes to drums, it is very handy and I would spend the money on one again.

In what sense is 21"5/8 the inside dimension? In the case of not having the inside measurement, what is the inside dimension?

I'm not sure how you came up with the 21 5/8" figure. There is a 24" width to the caddy, and it will hold a 55 gallon steel or plastic drum quite

This thing is very well built and I really like it, although I think I will be using it for a drum or two at some point, for now, what I bought it for was to move potted trees in my solarium
5/5

A greenhouse that is buried in the ground Currently, I am uncovered by 30 to 45 gallons of dirt, making it impossible to drag these thing out of my way without hurting either myself or them. I am too old and infirm to even attempt to do so, let alone succeed. However, this is easily adjusted by rocking the pot a bit on one side, sliding the above under a bit, switching positions, pulling it on and away we go. It is easy on me, easy on the plants, easy on the brick floor, and the darn thing is really maneuverable. I can't think of anything better.

I urge you to TAKE A LOOK AT THIS FIRST
5/5

You can use this product to move and load 55 gallon drums of Diesel, Oil, or Gasoline. I believe people who say it is dangerous to load are idiots a 350# drum barely needs to be tipped in order to be loaded, so if you are so weak as to do that, then you shouldn't even be handling anything like this at all. As a whole, this is an excellent dolly that works perfect on my driveway and around my Currently, I use it to store Sunoco 265 Unleaded fuel in my 55 gallon drum. Everything about this is perfect, including the free shipping here on Amazon to the tune of $120.

I like the caddie when it's loaded
3/5

Still, on the other hand. Here's what you need to know. The machine is smooth over smooth concrete and can maneuver easily, but and filled drum can't be loaded by one person as shown on the pictures, so it's virtually impossible to do, and it's probably an accident waiting to happen. A drum wresting match between two people can be conducted if they are both A forklift equipped with a drum cradle was used to load drums onto this caddy. It is a pretty decent transport unit on a flat surface after it has been placed on a caddy. My liking of it as a drum dolly is greater than that of a tipping type and I think it's much easier and safer to maneuver. There is just a problem with loading that makes this caddie fall short of what is expected. By now you should already be forking- In some cases, it is necessary to lift drums into circular racks. A frame with four frames These carts are a step up from wheel type caddies, and they are very well constructed.

The product is easy to push on a concrete floor
5/5

The purpose of this dolly is to be able to load a full barrel onto it, move the barrel, remove the barrel off of it, and move another barrel using the dolly. In contrast to the handle supplied with the barrel, which cannot be used for tipping a barrel with a crimped or sealed cap, it might be useful with a top that can be removed. A barrel with a sealed top only protrudes far enough from the side of the barrel for the handle to be able to grip it well. It is not necessary to use the handle to tip a full barrel and raise it high enough for this dolly to fit underneath. As I slide a barrel onto the dolly without much struggle, it is low enough to the ground to make this possible. Despite the fact that it is on a dolly, it rolls exceptionally well on concrete floors. As well as being well built, the dolly is also very.

Despite its simplicity, this caddy is very reliable
5/5

The design is simple, but it is very well done! For the plastic barrels, it is a dream! Maybe it works differently for steel barrels, but it is easy to use for them. It is pretty easy to tilt the drum (leap of the drum is big enough that the bracket will catch it without damage to it), and load/unload it with Diesel, DEF, or water, whatever you have lying around in your garage. . I promise that I will not disappoint you THERE IS NO NEED FOR A This caddy is very simple and safe to operate. It is even possible to drop, pick up, or tilt the caddy at corners even with a confined space. your drum is not completely loaded, just balance one wheel of your dolly and rotate your plastic barrel, that's all you need to do! I give it a thumbs Getting 55 gallon barrels out of plastic is a pain, but this will make a big difference!.

With two people, this can be loaded easily
5/5

My curiosity was piqued when I found how easily the 500 lb drum could be loaded, I bounced it and another man pushed the base in it As the dolly was being pulled, one man pulled with the handle and the other man pushed it up the With no trouble at all, the dolly rolled nicely over thresholds. Other than pulling and (untried) unscrewing the bung, I could not figure out if there was anything else the handle could do other than pulling. But it was worth it to move the drums.

It's a bit challenging, considering there are a lot of drums on the stage
4/5

It is a fantastic product. As we move 55 gallon drums of chlorine at our pool, 55 gallon drums of chlorine are being moved. have the cart under the drum, you will find it to be very helpful. Although the handle/lever gives a lot of flex, you'd have to be really strong to lift a full drum solo, so it's still taking 2 operators to load a drum, but then moving it becomes a breeze (on smooth concrete floors). The color looks great on you.

It is a good unit, but it could use some major improvements on the There is no indication that the unit is unable to handle the weight of the drum nor can it move It is highly unlikely the unit would function correctly without some type of attachment strapping to keep the drum from sliding off the base and causing it to move If you're loading a drum using it for the first time, I would not advise using it without a partner to keep it from falling over
3/5

It does not function very well as described, it is not very secure, and I do not recommend using it for that purpose.
