Using these in my garage to move cars around was a great purchase for me. Those are very nice skates, they are easy to move around on and manage, and they are very useful. It has been frustrating to deal with two elements of the design. The first thing I noticed was that the wheels did not lock. There are several other sets that come with wheel locks offered by the company, some of them even less expensive than these, but these don't, for whatever stupid reason. Since these skates are so easily moved when traveling on them, locking wheels would help me eliminate needing to keep a set of small wheel chocks in my pocket. The second difference is that the bottom is flat instead of a single V shape. All of the inexpensive rack solutions, including Pentagons, are built for V-style skates. It is a problem when we need a storage solution for these skates when they are not in use, as is the case for me 85% of the time. In spite of the listings that state it fits, even the pentagon rack will not fit. Also, if you are going to store a car on skates for long periods of time, the flat bottomed skates would probably work better for tires than the V style.

I've reviewed almost every review for every set of wheel dollies listed on Amazon, good, bad, and indifferent. They were a great price and had a weight capacity listed on them that attracted me. This is the description of 2 dollies that can carry 6,000 pounds each. It was listed as 4 dollies 6,000 lbs (I crossed my fingers and hoped it would all work out). 5. 500 lb (dry weight) boat (loaded with fuel, gear, ice chests, sandwiches, fruit chews, and daddy's medicine, beer ), sitting on a tandem axle trailer that I had to turn sideways to make room for the travel trailer in my shop. According to the contract, the shipment arrived on time. There are four dollies in my order. As I was performing the inventory and starting the assembly process, I pulled all the parts from the box. 16 castors were marked "check", which surprised me because they appeared to be more heavy-duty than I expected 15 washers and nuts were marked "no check" and 5 (FIFTEEN!) steel plates were marked Assembling the trailer was short and simple thanks to a nut from one of the trailer brackets. Despite the extra plate, I'm unsure what to do with it. My guess is that it is a target practice. As I got the boat on the dollies and put it on the dollies, I was expecting everything to fall apart, but it held up perfectly, no pinging, popping, or snapping. We were able to nudge the boat enough, once all 16 wheels lined up, to get them all moving in the same direction. Once all 16 wheels moved in the same direction, the boat rolled along smoothly on its own! As large as I am moving, and as heavy as it is, I don't know if they will ever work for a single person, but the dollies worked fine for the job. At present, the boat is still on the dollies, so I am going to get it back on the ground later today or tomorrow to see what shape the dollies are in.

The house is close to a diesel motor and I hear it about 30 am. It's trash pick up day, so no big deal. My ears are then filled with the sound of hydraulics and a lift gate in action. It's an alarm at the drive way, so the German Shepherd runs wild. On the porch, there is a box containing the car skateboards, which weighs 80 pounds. Assembling was simple and quick, as long as you had a 19mm socket on hand. As I lowered each MB E320 to each skate, I could see that the air pressure was descending. A protesting sound has never been heard from the metal or the casters. This car weighs over 3500 pounds. There are 8 holes in the front of my tire. Tires on the back are 10" / 275mm wide, and the front tire is 75" / 225mm wide. There are no ridges on the back or side. The front is 245" / 265mm wide. There was barely enough clearance to clear the caster studs/nuts. When the wider rear tire made contact with the skate, I wedged a wood shim between it and the tire. It is important to note, however, that although the description boasts 12" x 16" plate dimensions, this is merely an indication. As a result, I upgraded my skates and replaced them with wheel-jack combos equipped with 4" diameter casters a couple of months later.

I used these for tucking a 66 Mustang into the back corner of my garage, they succeeded. My wife and I had no problems moving the car from side to side after applying some WD40.
The only flaw I see is the lack of locks and grease fitting in the caster wheels, but this is easily apparent from the pictures.
