Product Description

Originally designed to hold only one side of the magnetic strip, it has a rating of 9 pounds perpendicular pull per linear foot, about 40% less than the pull of a vertical surface against sliding force and about 50% less than the pull of painted steel.

This magnet is designed to adhere directly to flat, smooth ferrous steel surfaces without a layer of material between the magnet and steel, or to any other magnetic materials for that matter. It is recommended that magnets be 1-1/3 inches in length

A permanent, pressure-activated acrylic indoor / outdoor adhesive with a peel-off liner is required to cure and provide initial tack, with 24 hour minimum cure time.

Clean, smooth, uniform surfaces made of paper, wood, stainless steel, painted steel, aluminum, glass, and rigid plastics have an adhesive bond. You should read the entire product description to achieve the best results

A variety of options and applications are available

A storm door was covered with screening fabric so I used this to secure it. Magnetic properties are quite good and the material is pretty durable. I'm satisfied with the way things are going so far.

There is not enough strength to make a magnetic strip There is very little magnetic power in this strip

Although I followed all the directions and requirements, this magnetic strip still does not perform well. There is no reason why direct contact between two things would be enough stronger than a magnet and a metal with only cloth between them? There's a weak magnet at the root of it.
