I think $3 might be enough. The magnets on the fridge are so weak, you would need two or three to hold a sheet of paper. To my surprise, neither magnet repelled when I tried to stick it to another magnet. Keep your money in your pocket.
It is the perfect size. There is no extra trimming needed and even though the magnets are not particularly strong, they hold the minis in place when the mini is turned upside down and lightly shaken. They don't need to go through any struggle to get off whatever they're on. They can be used as display cases or as a means of transportation. **As we speak, more is about to be ordered!.
The diameter of these magnets is perfect for round bases (provided you hold the magnets steady). Plastic minis are placed vertically and horizontally on them. It has only worked horizontally but I have tried it vertically as well. 3 of these bases were used as bases for a machine gun.
It is a terrible product. These magnets are terrible. They are so weak that they cannot capture any oil or water A refrigerator magnet with a large size. Initially, I was not sure they were magnetic at all, as they were gliding freely on my toolbox and refrigerator, without any connectors I am printing my return slip as I type.
Super glue can be used instead of adhesive to permanently fix your problem. Using rare earth magnets to magnetize resin miniature bases is better and more convenient than using rare earth magnets.
I purchased these to use with all my Star Wars minis, and they are perfect.
Scratches the surface when it is used.
My Western Digital external NVMe USB drive measures a little bigger than a palm, and even four of these magnets couldn't hold it against a surface at 45 degrees. I am struck by how funny this is! A poor choice of magnets!.
