It allowed me to keep track of my assignments in a way that resembled the other type of chain binder, the With those, adjusting the chains to make them tight enough was cumbersome and irritating. I also had to use a long cheater pipe in order to bind the chains tightly. And many times, I either didn't have the pipe on hand or forgot to return it to the last person who borrowed my skidsteer and trailer. One time, as I was pulling the lever down to lock the binder, it came unhooked and with all that force, it hit me right in the mouth and split my upper lip, and I thought I had injured my front teeth, but fortunately I did not. On my upper lip, I still have a scar. It is much safer, much easier, much more convenient and much better at locking the chains tight and securing the load because it has a ratchet load chain binder.
So far, it seems to be going well. There may be issues with certain areas of attachment due to the hooks being larger than anticipated.
