I tried three times before I was successful. We researched a number of fans and tried 2 others. The WFF-45B is the perfect industrial fan that is not too large and can be used in a back patio or other residential application. It's a great purchase when you are looking for such a fan. A misting ring easily converts the oscillation ring, and it has a really sleek look. It's sized perfectly, the stainless steel and black colors look amazing, and it's preconfigured to take a misting ring. Ours is great and we're very pleased with it.

I would have preferred if the control was higher up on the cord so that I could use more of the cord to plug in, but it overall works pretty well. Sadly Hydromist does not sell a kit with an attachment that connects right to the hose or faucet. There'll be a $30 charge for it since you need a 3rd party one.

Our ratings are wet. I expected a lot from this fan since it was so expensive. It took me a long time to find out that the fan is of high enough quality for me to feel that the price is a good value for the cost but I am pleasantly surprised. There is a large amount of air being blown by this fan, yet it isn't noisy at all we can conduct normal conversations at the table without raising our voices. I wish they included a bracket that would allow it to be mounted on both the flat and corner sides of a post, rather than just on the flat side. I had to heat the bracket I received, reshape it, and refinish There was a lot of work to be done, which they really shouldn't have done. The box was opened, but there was no note or invoice of any kind informing what parts were inside. In Texas, it is hot during the summer months. I chose this fan so I would be able to enjoy my patio more. There will be plenty of circulating air with the 3 speeds, as well as a chance of keeping the mosquitoes at bay. Aside from that, I am also pleased with the lack of noise.

Under my pergola, I mounted this to the underside. instructions state that it should be mounted at a height of about 9 feet, I believe. Honestly, I had a lot less room than that, probably 8 or 9. I still find it to be a great tool! It is sufficient to run on low (1), but high (3) is nice when it is really hot. This pergola is 12 x 16 feet, and the breeze around it is perfect. Although it is a fast fan, its noise is not too loud. With no noise interfering with our conversation or music, we can easily hold a conversation and listen to music. are in love with.

The unit we installed is mounted to a pergola post in our backyard. We found that it moves I didn't realize, but now that I have realized it, the mount, while it looks like it would have a post that sticks upward upon which a fan could be rotated for different angles, in fact does not have a post like that. There is a pole-like section of the base that the fan bolts into. In other words, the swivel can only occur when facing outward. In this case you must either build or figure out how to mount the device facing in between the two walls if you would like it to go from a corner to a wall.

I was still able to have a conversation right under it without much of a problem.

nbsp Fan of yours is awesome. I agree that it is a bit noisy, however the metal blades are to blame. Other than that, I am super happy with it and bought the mister add on at the same time. I like this method because it works well.
