I've been using Maca on and off for years, and I always come back to it because of its affordability and effectiveness. br>br>I add a tablespoon (or so) to my smoothie and it dissolves quickly. br>br>The effects are subtle and not overpowering, but they are undeniable. For me, it takes a while to notice the effects, especially in the area of libido, but I did notice a difference! This might help if you're no longer a spring chicken and need some boudoir boosting, as well as some overall energy. It is described as an 'adaptogen,' a substance that 'balances' overall systems and mediates the stress response. Both men and women are supposed to benefit from it. Although I don't believe this product has any drawbacks, it's always a good idea to start small, like with a teaspoon, just in case you're one of the few people who are sensitive to it.
I began with half a teaspoon, which is the lowest dosage recommended. I also developed a headache. Because I have a history of migraines, I assumed it was a flare-up (I had stopped having them so severe and so frequently and didn't want to go back to them). After a week, I went down to the smallest measurement by a smidgeon (yes, measuring spoons this small exist). And I did it for four days, during which time my headache became increasingly severe. It wasn't quite a migraine, but it was getting close. I stopped taking Maca Magic, and the headaches went away once it was out of my system. br>However, because I have a very sensitive system, I usually have to take the smallest dose possible. I have PCOS, which is a hormonal disorder, and Maca was recommended to me to help with it. I'm curious to hear how other people with PCOS are faring with this dietary supplement. I'm stuck with this massive container of this stuff now.
I bought it about 6 months ago. When Maca was touted as a libido booster eight years ago, I snatched it up when I saw it on Amazon. Forget the gelatainized Maca; this powder is very fine and easy to use, and it blends well in a smoothie. br>br>Also, some of you may have heard that there are three types of Maca roots: white, black, and a picky one. On a physical level! It was, in a way, more vibrant. I got this poss It's a fantastic natural energy booster that doesn't feel 'artificial. ' After 6 months of use, I've discovered that I can sleep on it. br>Although it will increase overall energy, it will not help you if you are extremely tired. You'll retire to your bed.
For about two weeks, I used this product every day and noticed no difference in my energy level. It was recommended to me by a friend for my pre-event planning. Since she said it helped her libido and flashes, I'm going to try it for menopausal hot flashes. I can't say it worked because I didn't use it for a long enough period of time. The taste was one of the reasons I didn't use it all; I don't like it. My green smoothies' normally pleasant flavor is overpowered by a half teaspoon.
I was awakened in the middle of the day. It provides me with a lot of energy and makes me feel fantastic. This is also beneficial to the health of women in general. This is a reputable company.
It has a good flavor. I'm not sure if it actually helped me, but it's supposed to be beneficial. The flavor is ok; it's supposed to taste like Malt, but I didn't enjoy it on its own.
To date, I've given this product an unfinished rating. I can't say it's done what it claims to be able to do. Perhaps it will take a little longer for my body to adjust.
