The needle holder in this picture is not a thermostat

A curse upon the person who titled a needle holder a hemostat, when in reality it was a needle holder. The photo was not detailed enough for me to see that the description was incorrect. The item would never have been bought by me. In addition to everything else, the tips are not properly carbided, so it doesn't work effectively as a needle holder.

It is wonderful to have needle holders that are leveled

As a result of the poor quality of the needle holders, I am very upset. The only reason I am writing is that I live in Colombia, so I asked my friend who lives in the US to deliver them to me while he was My needle holders arrived about two weeks ago, and at first glance, they look perfect when they are closed, but when they open, they are not leveled (like you can see in the picture) and the suture won't hold. There is a surgical instrument here that must be accurate. This is a pair that I ordered and both are identical. I am very disappointed with this purchase. They will not work for a surgical procedure, so I really don't recommend them.

I don't believe this to be the best thermostat

There was a lack of quality in this product. ordered it for the purpose of gathering sewing thread/thead, which it did for awhile, but then it didn't work anymore. The fact that I am an RN means that I know a lot about To accomplish its purpose, I had to add a rubber tube on one side of the tube!.

There is stiffness in the jaws

This is what I use to assist me with piecing quilts. It is not until all of the ratchets are closed that the jaws come together completely. My experience is as a surgical nurse, so I've been around medical grade equipment my entire career. I am satisfied with how the instrument performs and how well it cuts. It is not necessary to close the ratchets for the jaws to meet.

This is the perfect tool to change cartilage piercings, especially those that are difficult to access (Daith, Tragus). There is a very tight locking mechanism, but it is easy to release with practice. A very handy tool!.
