A sterile hypodermic (sharp) needle has been used here. My search for this was a success. So far, I have only used one, and I haven't had any problems. Some of the brand name ones are not as sharp as they should be, which has been a problem for me in the past. The work has been done better with these than with those so far. Let's cross our fingers for the rest of the box to be the same.
Don't forget to twist. The shot is of a nice length for IM. I think this is a good price.
It turns out that the listing was incorrect and that the needles are in fact injection needles.
Being able to break the skin and go into the muscles hurt pretty badly. The needle took a long time to get into due to how slowly it was inserted and how forcefully it was pushed into the skin. This is not a product I would recommend to you unless you need quick shipping or you have no other choices. In comparison to 5 days to get to you) that goes in easier and much less painfully.
The dispense needle caught my eye and I immediately assumed the blunt tip was my fault. There is no blunt tip on these needles, but a sharp tip. If you do not need sharps, do not buy.
The blunt tips I ordered arrived today. I received hypodermic needles, not blunt tip needles, despite the description clearly stating that they were blunt tip.
Sharp enough, but not sharp enough. As the product description notes, these are not tested on animals Needles are not for hypodermic use, but are sterile and blunt.
As you can see in the picture, the product that I received is the complete opposite of the one pictured. I will still be able to use them for what I intended, but I will need to be much more cautious! The idea of returning them and waiting for a replacement did not appeal to me. I would have given it five stars if I had desired hypodermic needles, but instead I am satisfied with it as it is. This is the opposite of what should be done.
