These are what I've been using to apply grease to my M1 Garand instead of cotton swabs, which tend to leave traces of cotton behind. When used with solvent instead of grease, they are sturdy enough to handle the job and can also clean hard to reach spots.

Detailing the vents and crevices inside vehicles is a very good idea whenever there are vents. You can reuse them more than once thanks to their strength. I've gotten rid of a lot of different kinds of germs with these objects and my clients are amazed at how much I cleaned. Despite not being flimsy, the handle is firm enough. I highly recommend this purchase! For less than I paid for 100 of these things, I purchased 50 "Gun Tips". Do you want to know something? In my opinion, they are just as good, durable, etc. I will definitely add this to my list of "Go To" These swabs would have been useful many years ago if I had discovered them sooner. Likewise, I used them for my most recent printer maintenance job, and they were equally reliable.
