Yes, they can be used to keep any small container's contents dry. More bags are required for larger containers. The manufacturer also offers bags in larger sizes. This is a great way to keep metal objects dry while they are being stored.
S/B is acceptable - However, they should not be placed in the bottles. Although the packages are sealed, moisture is absorbed.
The packets might help if the odor is caused by moisture. I'd throw in a couple of dryer sheets with a scent you like; the number of packets depends on whether they're air sealed or not, and whether they're exposed to low moisture (if they're not air sealed). 4, not air-sealed in a high-moisture environment 4 All measurements are approximate, and more packets are preferable to fewer.

I wanted to see how much water each tiny packet could hold, so I conducted a test. I measured out 8 ounces of water in a small measuring cup. Then I tossed in one of the packets. The water level in the cup dropped to 3/4 of a cup right before my eyes. So, if you've ever been curious, the answer is: 2 ounces of water is held in each packet. I'm pretty sure I've got enough for a lifetime!.
They can be stored in ammo boxes. They are in excellent condition.
I'm using these to keep the moisture down as I pack things I don't need right now for storage for several months. I've been using them for a long time and they're fantastic.
Underwater photography and videography are two of my favorite things to do. br>If the interior glass of my housings fogged up during a session, or if the camera's lens fogged, I'd be done and out of work in no time. br>I put a few of these in the underwater housing and there was no fogging even when I went into the cold water! br>I also stuffed a bunch of these into my camera bag to absorb any excess moisture. Bringing cold cameras back into a warm vehicle can cause problems for electronics, so I keep these in my camera bag when doing winter snow photography. I always have over 20 of these in the kid, and the moisture evaporates quickly. br>I use them, and I recommend them! When the packet begins to feel as if it isn't free any longer- It's time to replace your furniture because you're moving. It should be the consistency of dry sugar; if it becomes more candy-like, replace it right away:.
For a small amount of money, you get a lot of packets. I bought these to dry out my 3d printer filament in storage and haven't had any problems so far. I tossed them in a storage tub with all my filaments and voila, my filament doesn't seem to be brittle and crack every time I need to load a new spool into my printer.
That's what I use them for, along with infrared wildlife cameras that I keep in the basement during the winter. They're fantastic, and I'm very happy with them.
I would have done it years ago if I had known I could change the desiccant to keep the equipment dry; now I'll do it on a regular basis to keep the innards dry.
