I bought these to keep with my ammunition and bulk gun powder to keep them dry. However, before I could put them in place, I made a mistake and washed my new cell phone in the same load as the laundry. I removed the phone from the washer and placed it in a bag of rice, where it sat for a while. For suggestions on how to save my phone, call this number. I dehydrate a lot of vegetables and store them in mason jars or vacuum ziplock bags, but I wanted to make sure there was no moisture getting in, so I decided to add these because they were rated food safe. The bag size is ideal; I've used them in my brown sugar (no more old bread to keep moisture out) and they work perfectly; the brown sugar is now nice and soft and pliable; I've also used them in my large salt container; however, the best results came after I added them to small seasoning bags. I used to not use a whole bag of premixed seasoning (like gravy, saladdressing, etc. ) and the leftovers would harden up after a few days and be difficult to melt or separate into smaller portions; this was no longer the case with these moisture absorbent bags. However, if your spouse owns hunting rifles and ammo, keep them hidden; mine discovered them and decided they were fine for him, so the rest of the pack (? )br>However, the product is excellent and can be used to store a wide range of items that must be kept dry.

In each of my ammo cans, I place two or three individual packs. as well as in my firearms cases and in the bins in which I keep my belongings. When I'm not wearing them, I store them in my boots. It appears to be effective. My wife recently dropped her phone in the tub, which caused no problems. I had an extra set, so we put her phone in the bag and left it for 24 hours, and it was as good as new. I tossed the package and placed an order for more. br>br>Keep these out of the reach of pets and children.

We make a lot of jerky, about 8 pounds of it at a time. We usually buy 12 pounds at a time and keep it in the fridge for a few weeks while we try all of the new flavors. I used to keep moisture at bay by storing paper towels with the jerky and replacing them as soon as they became damp. These desiccant packets are a lot more appealing to me. I don't bother with recharging them now, but I may do so in the future. They appear to keep the jerky extra dry, extending its shelf life. These were purchased to be used in a safe that contained some cash. We noticed that it was accumulating moisture. These appear to be in good working order, and I like how they are supposed to turn yellow when they need to be reconditioned or replaced. They were purchased and sent to my mother-in-law. I'm sure this will help keep the moisture out of the safe, and we'll spot check it now and then.

I've used something similar to these in the past for storing guitar cases and effects pedals, and they're fantastic. These are what I bought for long-term ammunition storage, and they should suffice. I like how these can be re-used after being re-charged in the oven or microwave. You'll need these if you're storing anything that's sensitive to moisture, such as cameras, guitars (acoustic or electric), or electronics.

I ordered 10 gram packs but received 5 gram packs instead. Also, this is not the same product as shown in the picture! The packets then became extremely hot after about an hour of being opened, to the point of being untouchable! In case anything went wrong, I tossed them out the door into a tin garbage can.

These are essential for keeping loose or "unsealed" ammunition dry and reliable while in storage (even for years). You shouldn't rely on the O-ring on your ammo can. To keep all of the moisture out, use an o-ring. Check to see if all of your ammo is going to work. by putting a few of these in your ammo can or storage container of choice! Steel and copper shot, BBs, and other corrosive objects work well with this. Even tools, such as nuts and bolts, come into play! There are numerous applications for this product.
