Cleaning the bottle is actually done with a chamois material that should not scratch the bottle. Glass carboys cannot be guaranteed to not leak so I have no real guarantee that it will
Without a doubt. Depending on the size required, the fabric inside will extend or contract. In general, it will fit provided it fits into the opening. I ended up being able to fit it into a standard gallon milk jug - size 1 Gallon. It shouldn't pose any problem to use a 3 gallon carboy.
There's about 14 inches of dia on these brushes, and since the diameter of Sanke kegs is 16 inches, I wouldn't depend on these brushes. Maybe you can move it around a little so we can get the sides and the top, but I doubt that we could get all of It's fine if you can see the results in the carboys.

If you home brew, this is something you should have. It doesn't matter if it's a half gallon jug or a six gallon carboy, I need it. Before you purchase it, you should watch the video showing you how to use It is necessary to keep flaps soaked with water to prevent their collapse. Simply mop up the water by dunking it into the container you are trying to clean, until it is already 1/3 full. You can tilt and tip the bar as you use it, in order to get to those hard-to-reach upper bends that nothing else can.
I tried regular brushes, but there was yeast still stuck to the top of the glass carboy that just wouldn't go away. In the end, I was able to clean 98% of the amount I had struggled with before by dropping this in after a brief soak. It must be soaked again before it can be finished. a remarkable piece of equipment and makes the task of cleaning the carboys a bit easier. I have this at the top of my list for gifts to give my other friends who homebrew right As some others have pointed out, if you point it too far to one side or start it at too high of a speed, it can coil up. We awarded it 4 out of 5 on ease of use. Despite its ability to clean and become coiled, it does so with a less pleasing appearance than when it is uncoiled.
Are they shills? There is no way to use this brush. It will just coil up when you put it on your drill. On the picture, we see that it does not reach the sides of the carboy or keg. This is garbage!.
Worked for me. The device slotted into my cordless drill with no issues. I put a couple of inches of soapy water at the bottom of the soiled units before running this thing at Make sure not to press down on it or you will break it. All five carboys I had sitting around for cleaning were cleaned on the sides (or rather, those weren't all that dirty), as well as the tops and bottoms. This purchase has been a great experience.
I blended dawn dish soap and hot water in about 1/4 to 1/2 full plastic water jugs. In addition to moving the stick up and down, I operated the drill in every direction. In order to remove the mold and algae spots, I used a toothbrush.
The ease of cleaning these 3 gallon carboys makes me use them most of the time. A guy who makes homebrew was playing poker with his two buddies, one who runs a car wash, and the other who is a proctologist, and was complaining They both looked at each other in a transcendent moment and said, are you thinking the same thing I am. This is how this tool came to be.
This is the brightest I've ever seen it! Simply attach it to your drill and be amazed at the results.
Worked perfectly for me. I find this to be very time saving when it comes to clearing carboys. On the basis of the parts alone, I can't say the contraption is worth the cost (on the whole), but its price inconvenience and speed makes it well worth the cost.
