Consumers will benefit from using this product on a regular basis. The other product, 480026, is an EPA approved strip that only tests for Free Chlorine, so it can be used commercially. A test strip to be approved by the EPA is a very long and expensive process in fact, the only test strip to have been previously approved is the 480026. Please accept my sincere thanks!
You should have no more than 1 ppm of chlorine in your tap water from a public water system. There are few who A sensitivity of 0.02 is possible with this test kit. It should be sensitive enough for a concentration of five parts per million of free chlorine. It uses ortho-tests instead of the conventional ones There are two types of toluidene (liquid). Liquid toluidene is more sensitive, but it isn't
Calcium and magnesium combination is all it tests for.
The answer is yes. Pool water should have higher levels of chlorine than drinking water when it's fresh from the ground. This test may not read as high as your chloride levels if your sample is already low in chlorine. In addition, when testing a spa, it is imperative that a sample be removed from the water and allowed to cool to room temperature first, as these steps are not calibrated to suit

Although the test cost was good, it seemed like the chlorine tests for tap water were nearly useless. My water was almost chlorine free, and I am sure it's chlorinated. In the event that the color code is accurate and the chlorine and chloramine levels are low, it still remains a useless test because it is close to being white in I think this is more useful to test swimming pool water. The chlorine test strips I use are too inaccurate, so I'm going to start looking for something better. It appeared to produce good results for the other tests of pH, alkalinity, although the chemicals on the test for hardness seemed not to be evenly spread.
While the strips are quick and easy to use, the hardness indicator (the square furthest away from your fingertips where you hold the strip) bleeds color when you hold it. This makes reading the strip difficult. The bleeding continues even after I shake off excess water. I bought them to do what they were designed to do This represents the free chlorine in the system).
I expect it to work.
Until yesterday, I was using the item as soon as I received it. In my tests, I used three different strips and they were all identical. I found the cloth diapering and washing routines to be very helpful!.
Because the colors in the test pads are very faint and tend to run, they are more difficult to read than those in Leisure Time and Frog tests. It is particularly difficult to read the chlorine pads because they are yellow. This is the only brand I will repurchase due to the extra “total chlorine” test pad that came along with these.
Does the job.
It is a good product. But you need to read the instructions and follow them The importance of time cannot be overstated. The only reason we can't get a flat chart is because there's no demand for one.
