Questions & Answers

Do you know if I can do this test to see if infant formula contains arsenic if I combine infant formula and Please accept my sincere thanks! ?

The answer is not clear. I would have to speak with the pros to get an answer to that question. I found the use of the test a bit challenging as well.

In order to test my drinking water, I am looking for a simple test kit. I am concerned about possible contamination of my well by fly ash. The aquifer has been drained, so will this test show if arsenic has leached into it?

Arsenic 3 & Arsenic X Ultra kits are included in this kit In wood samples, there are 5 Kit number 481396-B is the one you should use When it comes to determining whether or not a specific set of test kits detects arsenic in water, always remember that the kit only detects free dissolved arsenic, thus any organically bound arsenic will not be An acid digestion would need to be performed on the sample to free the bound arsenic in order to get an arsenic reading (we think) for the sample. The results of the test would be the total amount of arsenic.

Is it possible to determine the test results based on the age of the kit?

I hope you have a good day. expired strips and reagents have been used in a test kit, the manufacturer cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of the The resulting false positive or false negative results do not necessarily mean that the test will give false results, however one should not completely rely on opinions based on a kit with expired components since the manufacturer does not stand by the results. Please accept our sincere thanks for your help!

Unfortunately, I cannot speak to the accuracy, but I find the user interface unfriendly
3/5

I used a zinc packet with very powdery zinc, so when I opened it, I ended up with too much of it (not enough to make During the second test I flubbed, when I inserted the testing strip it slipped from my fingers and fell into the nozzle completely and all the way.

This is an excellent product! I have a final solution, but what do I do with it? Unlike some products I've used in the past, this was a good product
4/5

The instructions were clear, the process was easy, and the results were easy to read and understand. This product was purchased so that old fence slats I wanted to use as a garden bed could be tested out before being used. It was a good thing that this test showed that actually it would be very bad for us to pull that fence down as it still contained high levels of arsenic. My only reason for giving it a 4 instead of a 5 was because I don't know what to do with the solution now that our testing is over. I would feel more comfortable if the manufacturer gave instructions about how to dispose of the final material.

We were able to work it out
4/5

A test piece of wood was used to evaluate the It seems that I used the test strip incorrectly the first time, since the directions could be clearer when it comes to using them. When I watched YouTube, I realized what I had done wrong and subsequently took the test without issue. I don't do this kind of stuff every day, so the tests are okay because there are five of them. Set up a learning curve for one test. I would recommend it since it works.

This item does what it is advertised to do however, it lacks To begin with, there is good news A wood decking sample was detected to contain arsenic, as claimed by the manufacturer
4/5

After following the instructions, I had a clear, positive result. The test strips I received looked white when I first used them, unlike one of the other reviewers.

However, the product's safety information is lacking. There is mercury(II) bromide in the test strips, which is among the most toxic chemicals, and the labeling instructs users to consult "MSDS #4," which is not included. All other chemicals are labelled with only a number and an acronym (MPS) except for zinc powder. Furthermore, there is no information on what to do with the waste after it has been tested. Thanks to the same company, I was able to find a more complete user manual for the water testing kit include waste disposal instructions and material safety data sheets for all In the section on waste disposal, the following quotation is given Immediately after testing is complete, pour the liquid from the bottle down an out of the way drain that is not used for food preparation and rinse The location of where wet zinc should be collected and disposed of should be regulated by Make sure you clean the bottle, the yellow cap, the white cap, and the white cap. To dry the white cap with turret, shake off any excess water and use a soft tissue to dry it. The white turret cap needs to be thoroughly dried out if you plan to run the next test right away. Used Mercuric Bromide (HgBr2) test strips should be disposed of in an appropriate plastic bag marked "Used". The used strips should be kept out of the reach of children and pets, and disposed of according to local ordinances.

Despite the kit's name, it is missing information about how to properly dispose of As seen on the box, the word "visit arsenickits" appears. It was not possible to find disposal info on www. com.

I found this solution to be effective
4/5

While the test is a bit difficult to perform, it is not In my instructions, the directions are a little unclear about which way to insert the strip (the image is really fuzzy), but I was able to figure out that they want the pad inserted so it won't touch the outside of the bottle and get damp. I wasn't expecting the test to work as well as it did, but regardless.

I guess I made a mistake
3/5

It was a water test. The water testing kit seemed to be what I was getting. Even more so because the package reads "Rapid Arsenic Test Kit for An ink pen was used to write "wood" crudely in handwriting. We can't return due to the inconvenience and pain!.
