There is no way to determine if the test is working

There are a few steps to follow when taking the test It is important to insert the coated paper disks into the sample bottle cap. To test water, put an alka seltzer tablet into the test bottle, poured with the water being tested. In essence, a cap is screwed on the sample bottle, and the idea is that the gas is going to escape through the agitation and activate the disk and change the I smelled hydrogen sulfide (the smell of rotten eggs) in my case While the paper disk remains the same color, it has no change in appearance. If you don't test well water for a living, investing in it is probably not a wise move

In the literature, I never saw a mention of a very short shelf life of this kit. In the end, I'll probably have to throw most of the kit away before I can make any use of If you don't test well water for a living, investing in it is probably not a wise move.
