The dehydrator has been having some issues lately, and part of the process was changing the oil just to ensure it was not the oil itself that was causing the I used an oil that was different from what I usually use. *on a side note, there was a problem with my device, and it took me months to work with the company to resolve it. Oil being a problem made troubleshooting more challenging because it compounded other issues.

This is exactly what I wanted. Several times, I have filtered and reused it. After using this oil in the freeze dryer, it will last quite a long time if it is filtered properly after each use.

Since this is the type of vacuum pump oil that came with the machine, I chose to stick with it. I've filtered and re-used this oil and it has been stable so far, even after I've run it four times on the machine, for a total of 64 hours testing the same 30oz Although I have thoughts regarding the vacuum pump itself, I must say that the oil used to move the oil functioned as design.

The pump might work alright for smaller applications, but I need to replace the pump after 20 hours when it's used on an E250 Leybold pump. A leak was also found in the box. Neither the caps nor the clips were I received an UPS package with oil splattered all over it. A replacement leaker was provided free of charge by Amazon within a short period of time. It is required that I pull the vacuum down to less than 1MM and maintain it for up to 24 hours before oiling my.

That's a large price tag, but if that's the recommended oil for your vacuum pump, you might as well look into it. Spending an extra $100 on a pump that costs $1000 is not worth it.

For my freeze dryer, this seems to be an excellent product for operating the vacuum pump. My oil is filtered and the water is removed after each batch of drilling was completed. This is a great way to replace oil lost during drilling. It will probably take me a while to use all the resources, mostly those which were necessary to initially set up the system.
