Questions & Answers

Do the wires come with it?

As well as the power cord, this unit comes with the hookup adapters banana plug to alligator clips.

The current limit of this supply can be programmed? If you limit the current, for example, to 500mA, can you achieve this?

I refer to it as having a manual control for streamlining and fine-tuning of current, which is not programmable by my definition. There is also a push button to hold (the knob on the right).

Are you aware of a way to make it a constant current? Although I don't know whether I will use it this way in the future, I am curious to find out ?

As soon as you set the current with the right knob and whatever you plug into the output tries to draw more current than it is set to, it will automatically switch to constant current mode. It will turn on the "CC" light to indicate that the current is being controlled.

There is a terminal for each. Is there a voltage between the positive and the negative? As an example, 30 volts will have 15 volts and a -volt Do you have 15 volts? Is that okay?

There is no dual voltage supply in this unit. 0 V or ground will be the reference for the negative side, while the positive side will have a plus voltage. In the example above, if the supply is set for 30 V, the positive side will have 30 V and the negative side will have 0 V (ground). Please find below some information I hope is helpful

Home supply that is perfect for the family
5/5

The reviews convinced me to purchase this particular supply after looking at a lot of supplies. After retiring, it's become second nature for me to use the high-performance computer I understand it's high-end stuff, but $500+ is a little much for a home computer. $30 will be used for I found the $50 units to be very cheap, and judging by the reviews, they My first mistake was not to remove the cover when I received it. It was impressive to see how the assembly was put together. It was done according to good practice. There is a good amount of cable lacing (sign of care to be taken), the transformer looks large, and the heatsink looks like it's a good fit. do not have access to a schematic, so I cannot make any judgements about how well it works, but it seems to be well designed.

I am very impressed with the controls and how easy they are There is a display of voltage This chart shows current in units of and voltage in units of It's not very accurate (and it doesn't have to be) but you can tweak the settings to get as fine a control as you need. It only takes a few turns to adjust either option. The number 1 or 0 refers to the number of volts. The voltage has to be within the range of dot For current, it's the same. You may find that the knob clicks, but it may not also be exactly right. For instance, if you were to change a setting on the fly, you might change the unit below and come at the new setting with ten Below is the description of how to use a constant voltage supply. There is rarely any need to use true constant current mode, so I won't spend any time on it. It's best to unhook all the outputs before working on the ground. For starters, the ground terminal is the earth ground that's carried through the AC line card. It is usually a good idea to connect the ground to whatever is considered (Yeah, I am aware of ground loops and need to avoid them sometimes however, for digital work, this rarely happens). Common is the suffix we use most often in our work You should hook it to the ground if you plan to mount it on a post. By connecting the posts with hookup wire and making jumpers with the holes in the posts that you can find by unscrewing them a little, you can do this quickly and easily. Then turn on the supply and set the voltage to what you need (for example, a Zero Volts). The current should be adjusted to be perhaps twice as much as what you think is In the event that anything is plugged in wrong, this will protect your circuitry. The current knob for the supply will now turn on after your press and hold the current knob until the OCP light comes on to ensure the supply turns off In the case where you don't do this and a large amount of current is being drawn, the supply will enter constant current mode and simply reduce the voltage to whatever level it needs to push out the current imposed An incorrect hookup may be to blame for this. At this point, the circuit may be fried. The OCP will stop this from happening by cutting off the energy There is still a possibility that you will blow something out, but the chances are slimmer. Whenever the power supply shuts down, all it takes is a bit of tweaking the voltage knob to get it working again. Press and hold the voltage knob until the panel lock appears after each setting has been completed. Rather than allowing anyone (such as curious hands) to change your settings, you will have a locked screen. A knob or dial indicates a specific voltage or current limit as you turn it. They return to reading out the voltage and current output by the supply after a moment. The meters were not tested for regulations, accuracy, ripple, etc. If I see anything unexpected, I'll update this post. Just remember that the meters are not accurate to 4 digits, but doing quite well (better than 1%) though. A higher degree of resolution is usually more useful than a higher degree of If you're interested in current trends, for example, keep an eye on small This is just the way they should be set up, so credit to the designers. Understanding the limitations will help you use it to the best of your ability. In my opinion, it is good practice to not push a low-priced supply beyond its design limits. It was my intention to never use the 5amp model more than a few amps in any given time. As far as supplies are concerned, current will kill them, but I hope being conservative will help it last a long time.

In just a week, I found that it was still cool to the touch and started on the first try
5/5

In order to refine old junk silver into , I purchased this DC power supply specifically for making an electrolysis machine for refining silver. There is 999 pure silver in the world. This power supply has been great so far I have refined over 200 oz. of silver with it without any issues. Over the course of a week, I kept this unit running non-stop without issue. When I used it again after a week, it was still cool to the touch and just kept going on my next batch of silver. I was very happy with how quickly the item arrived and how well it was It looked like it left right off the assembly line and was delivered right to my door. Power supplies are available in many different varieties, but I think the one presented here is probably the best deal for your money. Here are some of the features of this power supply I enjoy The following. There is a cooling fan at the rear of the supply, which makes it the best one. You can keep internal components cool by using this, which is especially important if you are using it in an area with limited air flow. operates very quietly depending on the load. It automatically adjusts its speed depending on the One of the reasons I chose this supply over others is because it is so easily accessible. 1. I. 2. There is a decent instructional manual that is written in English that makes it easy to use the unit. 1. 2. 3. From any distance, the display is bright and it is easy to read your settings. 5
.
6 It provides a grounding connection, which is something other supplies lack. There are three alligator clips (5 feet) included in the unit. Featuring a continuously adjustable voltage and current, the heavy-duty power supply comes in a single channel. The eighth point. An AC/DC selector switch at the back will allow you to select between 120 and 200 volts. It is highly recommended that you take a look at this product if you are searching for an adjustable DC power supply, you won't be disappointed. Because it has already proved itself a number of times, I am confident that it will last for a very long time. *If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask them!.

It's a great deal This is perfect for a hobbyist

It has been edited multiple This is the first unit that Also, the company gave me a high rating of 5 stars*)

The new unit arrived a few days later, accompanied by a pre-paid I thought I noticed a few "idiosyncrasies" after performing a cursory test. In order to get it started, the PS requires a very low load, specifically I was unable to get it to light up one A voltage of 2 volts, a current of 20 mA). It is fine to have several in parallel + series. I can measure the voltage with both of my digital voltmeters within a few milliseconds This one's due to resistance in the wire. The voltage remains constant, no matter what the load is.
The amperage supplied by the unit is also within a few mA of my VOMs. The starting point for 01A is The power resistor heated up after a solid hour of 55 volts, and I apparently didn't even breathe heavily at all. It appeared that the PS fan was a bit louder than before (this was expected). As well as This is a requirement, by the way. A great value for the money Both numbers are dialed - I have very good control over voltage and current The bench- Friendly to the environment As a result, the device is small in size The banana - Wires for the gator 5A can be found here It is simple to use, but there are a few drawbacks This is a requirement, by the way. "Lab grade" isn't really the best word to use. Despite that, I believe it is a subjective term I hear "lab-coat" when I hear "drysuit" I think grade is at least $500+ per unit and not $95 per unit It has a tendency to change from constant voltage to constant current with some randomness It could be an issue of user education A lack of documentation (did not mention when or how the above occurs). My first order arrived a month after I ordered it (on the plus side, the shipping time was accurate There is a possibility that Chinese New Year contributed to the spike).
