Since this is my first power supply, I cannot compare it with anything, but I do notice that it looks and feels There are no banana plugs in the unit, so you'll have to use the screw terminals instead. There is also a lot of noise. It is quite loud to hear the coil whine. If I returned it and got a better one, I would definitely get a better one.
