As long as they work, they are effective. Our fifth is the only one to be junked, whereas the other two are. Each one of them has been affected by moisture intrusion in our humid work environment. Both have been sent back for moisture intrusion, one has been repaired under warranty, and the other has been refused warranty coverage. An offer for a replacement offered to me was several hundred dollars more than the street price.
Buyer It IS possible to get moisture inside the LED readout area when you live in a humid environment, and the warranty service may not be available.
Upon turning it on and testing the equipment for the first time, the screen lit up, but there were no numbers or signs displayed. I can hear the sound, but I cannot see anything on the screen. There has not yet been a response to my inquiry about how to apply the warranty.
