Is this USB interface kit compatible with the Navigator line of computers?

This capability pertains to the SPX scales. The navigator series, I believe, uses a 9-pin RS232 connection.

It accomplishes what it sets out to do

It works. Connecting to the USB interface via PC (I'm sampling mass every 5 seconds with a python script) can be challenging at times. It works perfectly once the scale is visible and connected to my Python interface. To connect to the scale, follow these steps: br>br>
- To turn off the screen, unplug it and then plug it back in.
- connect the scale to the computer with a USB cablebr>- Press any key on the scale, such as zero or tare, to increase the power. (To initialize the scale, the plate must be empty. )br>br>After that, my script can connect to the scale via USB. (I usually get COM4, but it varies depending on the PC. ).
