Does this work with the 5ml volumetric containers?

I would say yes, without any problems. In all of my oral surgery practices, I use 5ml vacutainer tubes and have never had a problem with the centrifuge

It seems impossible to find the right balance between the rpms and the speed (x10). How can I get my score above 5000? I have read through the instructions a lot, but still lack the knowledge. ?

It only goes up to 4200 rpm

According to this product's advertising, it can run at up to 5000rpm, but it is only capable of running Please refer to the attached pictures. A positive aspect would be how silent it is. * Please be aware that I will not support a company that lies about its product. I strongly urge you to not use Vision Scientific. Their claim of superior quality may be an attempt to upcharge for the product.
