Selected User Reviews For Borroughs Adjustable Height Workbench with Painted Black Top and Bottom Shelf with Back and End Guards, 34 in x 72 in, Commercial Grade, 16 Gauge Steel
It's a decent workbench, but it's not nearly as sturdy as it could be if the back support piece and the shelf were fully attached. If the metal support piece on the back that attaches to the legs was long enough, it could attach in four places, but it was cut so short that it barely makes it to the legs and only attaches with two bolts on each leg. The bottom shelf is the same way; it barely reaches the piece it rests on and is only held in place by two bolts. Because they cut corners on a few inches and a few bolts, the entire bench sways a little and isn't nearly as strong as it would have been if those two support pieces had gone the full distance and were attached with four bolts on each side instead of just two. br>br>As a result of this, as well as the inherent instability of the tiny leveler feet, the workbench will feel shaky unless I secure it to a wall and the floor, or add more support pieces/replace the leveler feet with something more solid. br>br>So, for the price, I was a little disappointed, but overall, it's still a good all-metal work bench with a lot of positive attributes like thick gauge metal, solid fasteners, and three sides to keep small components from wandering off the sides and back.
