This is easy to clean (I usually use brake cleaner, but I'm not sure if it's the right stuff). I appreciate being able to see what I'm doing so much better.

Dykem is what it is

The metal layout works perfectly with it. It is easy to write on and won't wash off when exposed to heat and water. There will be a slight head rush if you are not properly ventilated but it goes away soon after. It is the only product of its kind. Knife makers and fabricators will benefit immensely from this tool. The sharpie just isn't as good as this.

Dykem has a blue colour. I really wouldn't recommend this unless you are a newbie to machining. For major layouts, this is the way to go. The product is easy to apply and easy to remove. Having this stuff handy is a good idea.

The metal sanding, grinding, and machining methods are highly useful whether you're dealing with any variety of metal. A difference of this magnitude is significant. I like having a brush in my cap.
