When conducting a Borates test on a pool, it's used as a pH indicator. My purposes require a large volume, which will last for hundreds of tests, and the eyedropper included in the package is a must have, because it is much easier to use than from other manufacturers who don't offer one. The concentration does not seem excessively strong to me, so I am not sure what the other reviewer is talking about.
