IN FRESH WATER, IT WILL NOT WORK!
Lot 5672 of the recalled products was delivered to me. This item was purchased on January 7. It is the same lot that I have the last two bottles of.
Neither I nor any of my colleagues have ever experienced There is only one problem with this technique. It dries out at the top of the reagent bottle a little and gets inside. You will see a little floating stuff through the glass when you test it, but it doesn't impact your results. I opened a new reagent and got the same reading, so I assumed it would.

Alkalinity tests are much easier to perform using this kit than API models. This is more expensive than the API kit (plus the Hanna Handheld Colorimeter), but it is more accurate and easier to use.
