Not all brass is created equal

This was purchased because the product description stated that it was made of brass. Simply put, this isn't the case. After only a few days of clamping a fountain hose, the adjustment knob appears to be aluminum and has corroded badly. This will be returned to you.

I received the clamp and used it on a piece of 1/2" ID vinyl tubing right away

The device jammed and the entire frame bent before the tube was clamped shut. The quality is extremely poor. Actually, there isn't any. Buy a pair of vice-grips with the money you saved.
