I'm sure they can be reused if thoroughly cleaned, but the quantity (50 per case) lasts a long time, and the fact that they're disposable keeps them sanitary. I don't want worm eggs and manure strewn about the place. It sort of defeats the object of the exercise. Your hands should stay clean if you use them as a disposable. I always place the fecal kit on a small paper plate to prevent the solution from spilling on your counter or sink. Then throw everything away when you're finished. It's an outstanding item.

The cost of a box of them is unbeatable. Work well and allow us to keep track of parasites on the farm. A box of these, a box of slides, a gallon of float solution, and a mid-level microscope cost about the same as four vet visits, plus a quick before-and-after inspection. When you're worming, do a before-and-after test to see if your wormer is building resistance. This isn't my ideal job. If you have goats, cattle, or pigs, this is a necessary part of the game.
These work well and are reasonably priced. They're not the same as the higher-priced versions. Fecalyzer is a high-priced product. Because there is no little groove around the outside of the inner piece, nearly every sample will drip a few drops down the container's side. The caps also don't fit as tightly as the Fecalyzers, which are more expensive. This doesn't bother me; it simply means that I'll have to use more paper towels on the test bench and keep the waste bin's bottom dry. Each of the next four or five seasons, we'll use 150 of these to help us determine the number of intestinal parasites at our dog park.
These were a little less expensive than others, but they had a habit of leaking during the float period. In the future, I'm likely to spend a little more on a different brand. They do the job and are inexpensive, but they do leak.

Great product at a great price; I chose this item because it was the most cost-effective. They say you get what you pay for most of the time, but there aren't any complaints here! I received my order in a timely manner.
