This is a fine set of My intention was to use the containers to store a small amount of medication to be kept in various bags and first aid kits, but they appear more suited to home science projects or other crafts. Tubes' plastic is a very hard, clear type of plastic, and they are finely made. The downside to them is that they aren't flexible, so they can break or get crushed under pressure or if dropped. There is a softer plastic on the caps. My experience with the caps has also been good, though I cannot comment on their water-tightness. In general, these are handy for a wide variety of things, but their hardness may cause them to break.
Glass is not a good choice. Now I use them to store jigsaw blades and in the future I will likely use them to store other things as well. Multiple blades of the same type can be kept together very conveniently. It is not a concern for me that one of them falls on my workbench's concrete floor, since they are made of plastic (not glass).
The purpose of these is to keep scroll saw blades separated or stacked I punched some 16mm holes on a piece of 2x4 instead of using the flimsy cardboard holder. I find these to be perfect for my needs, and they also come with decent caps.
Neither of the test tubes were damaged, nor were there any lids missing. The cardboard holder also worked smoothly. For dry contents, it worked perfectly! For moist contents, it may not be ideal, but for clean dry contents, it worked perfectly! My project is to make mini M & M's for a Graduation Party favor Ms and they worked just fine. As of right now, I do not have a picture to share since my labels have not yet been completed. However, they look great.
As a result of the missing tops, I discovered that I had received the wrong product. After placing all the tubes in the stand, I was pleased with the product. These are not the kinds of supplies you can just walk into a hardware store and buy. It is an adequate kit on the whole. No tops yet, and I'm not happy about it. Due to this, I am not able to give my review a positive rating.
Our house party guests loved them and they were a big hit. I bought some for our house party. After I received the set, two tubes were damaged, so I notified the seller. They sent replacements within a week, and I was impressed with the seller's customer service. In fact, I will purchase a set for my sister who loves them just as much as I do. It would be beneficial to invest in a small funnel to assist with pouring liquids.
Besides the tubes and rack, we liked them both. There were only a few lids on it. A 60 tube set would have been great, but you don't get a lid with it.
The plastic was a little difficult to assemble and there were three tubes missing.
