This one was made better and at a lower cost. The only way to clean these is with strong acids, so be prepared; it's the price we pay for something that filters so quickly and effectively.
It's difficult to clean, and it doesn't seem to filter consistently, which makes using filter paper on top even more difficult. If you require suction or negative pressure, simply purchase a porcelean buchner funnel and an erlynmeyer flask with a hose attachment.
It worked fine for the first couple of uses, but on the fourth or fifth use, it broke.
It accomplishes the task at hand. Make sure the funnel doesn't have too much vacuum. Your flask is about to blow up!.
Everything arrived in good condition and works well. The medium frit has limited use, and I wish I had chosen the fine frit instead, but that was my mistake, and the filter should not suffer as a result.
Filters out nothing small enough to require the use of a funnel, clogs frequently, and is impossible to clean even with strong solvents. You get what you pay for. br>br>If you pay too much, you'll get too little. Amazon's cheap Chinese glassware always performs worse than expected.
