Does this funnel pass the "food safe" test, specifically the water test?

Do you mean safe to use with water? I'm not sure what you mean by that. I absolutely believe it's safe, as long as you keep it away from water and the sun. This funnel would not be appropriate for use with acetone. Acetone melts plastic, however, but it is suitable for use with other solvents, such as ethanol and isopropanol.

There is no question that a funnel is always handy. And this one is easy to use and does exactly what it's The one thing I wish that a funnel provided was two measurements rather than just one (I suppose it's hard for the funnel to fail there haha) However, it seems like a frustrating process when there are only two measurements provided. It is not uncommon to only find the outer diameter of the funnel tip listed on most products, but I required the inner diameter as well. For me, the answer to this question is important because in addition to wanting to know how much time it will take for fluid of different viscosities to pass through the funnel, I've had no problem fitting it into my 15ml glass bottles but am unable to use it in my LDPE plastic bottles because of the width. Ensure that the measurements are correct and that you calculate the width of the plastic for the tip first, which I did not do here.
