The autoclaves I bought are for autoclaving 1 L of agar media so that the plates can be filled easily. I use it for that purpose. I've learned from my mistakes, but you need to too. It is NOT acceptable to use it.
The soaping pads are wonderful! I use them all the time! This container even worked perfectly for my lye water solution when I was in a bind. I like how solid and easy to pour they are in your hands. Even if you are not a soaper, you will find it helpful.
My homemade soap is made in this I bought it so I could make a larger batch. Having bought the six pack, I probably should have bought just three, I actually only use three of them at the same time, the slab is a moderate size when used with the pitcher. I'm in love with.
