These are made from environmentally friendly materials. food that is friendly- plastic of high quality, long lasting, and non-toxic The substance is poisonous and has no odor.
Plastic. Polypropylene is most likely the material.
It doesn't say, but I believe it's made of LDPE.
I tried it with some warm liquids and it worked fine; the plastic didn't lose its clarity or become soft. However, because of safety concerns, I would not recommend using this for direct heating or exothermic reactions. br>Remember that any plastic can withstand a gentle warmup by water bath, so if you're not planning on doing any heavy heating, you might as well try these beakers out and see.

We used them for experiments and display/decor, and the child received all of them after the party for his "science lab" in his room. It was a great time! as well as a wide range of options!.
This is a great buy for two reasons. I also bought plastic flasks to use as a centerpiece for science-related events. birthday party with a theme It was a complete success! Now my 7- year- They're being used to play Science Club by the kids. Win- win!.
I bought this set specifically to use the 10ml cylinder to measure small amounts of liquid paint, which is supposed to be more accurate than the beakers. The graduation marks were not properly aligned, and filling the cylinder with exactly 10ml of water from a more precise medical syringe revealed that the readings were below what they should have been. Interestingly, all of the others appear to be fine, but the few cylinders with blue ink markings rub off in a matter of hours; thankfully, all items have physical indentations or bumps for graduation markings, so they won't rub off even if they're difficult to see. The bottom of the second-to-smallest sized (100ml) beaker is slightly warped, making it unsteady on a flat surface. I don't use it very often because it tends to wobble and teeter. Funny enough, I decided to replace the defective 10ml cylinder in this kit with a cheaper, more accurate alternative. I also have a use for everything else in it, so I won't bother returning it. Still, with so many low-quality items being sold on Amazon these days, I felt buyers deserved at least a fair assessment of this product.
Plastic that is both strong and durable. Nothing broke or bent out of shape because it was shipped in a plain mail bag. br>Plastic does not necessarily imply low cost. In this case, it denotes that the product is suitable for use by children.
The addition of blue tick marks as well as raised clear marks on each side of the beakers is nice; the only concern is that the blue tick marks are printed and sometimes are marginally off from the molded in demarcations on the other side of the beaker. Overall, it is nice to have the selection, and the molded in demarcations seam accurate when I compared them to other beakers.
as if it was magic These were used to make and measure natural oil for use on the face and hair. I immediately washed it and was astounded when the ink smeared in front of my eyes like a magic trick. As I previously stated, this was the first HAND wash. I used regular dish soap and warm water to clean the dishes.
I've been looking for a medium-sized measuring cylinder for a long time, but this kit provides me with a wide range of options. I've been using them to make precise concrete mixes in small batches. The largest flask is 1 L, which allows me to measure out up to 7 kg of concrete mix as well as micro-nutrients. I'll use the small measuring cylinders to make batches. I'm sure it'll be useful for other things in the future, but for $10, it's worth it just for the concrete mixing.
Tools of exceptional quality. These are for dyeing wool, and I bought them. They'll be ideal for my requirements.
