As far as I know, I used it to make moonshine and it worked It's just a matter of ensuring you have a good stand with a clamp so that you can angle the dispenser downwards so that you can easily fill up the dispenser The water will flow to the
If you can find one with ground glass neck and add matching tubing inlet adapter to attach the hose from the condenser kit, then you might be able to find a suitable flask. The kit won't be good for you if you need your oil to be clean after you make it. It is possible for the oil to pick up contamination from the hose included. While it does work, the oils produced will have a strong smell of rubber (my orange oil had a particularly unpleasant smell). Having a full distillation kit with ground glass joints would be much better than what's available today. If you replace the hose with one made of a different material, you may get better results from this kit.

Speaking as someone who has not worked in a lab, the instrument certainly looks nice. So far, there have been no problems. I have a couple of notes to make. As soon as you use it for the first time, you'll notice a strong odor of rubber in the distilled water. It would be advisable to run the machine a few times before attempting to use it anywhere where the smell might cause a problem. A similar feature of the rubber tubes is that they can be easily dismantled and cleaned The interior washed out and cleared of flaky residue before it was hooked up to the As a whole, this kit is great and I've had nothing but good experiences.
When I looked at steam distillation kits here, I realized I could have easily bought one of these, a couple of liter flasks, a couple of stops, a stand, and the tubing I needed for about ten dollars instead of nearly three hundred. After setting everything up and connecting a french organic lavender condenser to my hose, I used a liter of said lavender to wash the system. Within four hours, I had a pint of lavender essential oil that sold for 1/10 what I would have paid in retail stores, even after the distiller was paid. In fact there is no doubt that this condenser would be perfect for making home liquor, because it is made of solid thick glass and has a high flow rate of coolant as well as a consistent coil in the middle, I highly recommend it!.
There is everything you need to use it right out of the box. I'm very pleased with the quality of this product. My first one was broken.
The second one I purchased broke. The stand I now have will allow me to properly hold the condenser, this is my fault. To hold the tube, a $15 stand is worth the money. It is with this setup that I was able to get a 70 percent ABV rate. I would like to get the ABV to 80% with a bit more patience.
The condenser worked great, was heavier than I expected, and the tubing included was the correct size, which has been sufficient for my distilling project. I appreciated not needing to go to the store to get the tubing, given that most applications were adequate. all, a good product that sells for a good price and comes with a few perks.
It was exactly what I needed to aid with my chemistry projects. I'm very pleased with it. Thank you for the fast delivery. The product was packaged very well, so there were no broken pieces.
This kit is awesome!.
I am confident that it will perform well with future distillations.
It performs as described, but I did not use it in a The glass is of good quality. As well as fittings and hoses, they worked perfectly.
