Selected User Reviews For Vacmaster - Beast Professional Series 14 Gal. 6.5 HP Steel Tank Wet/Dry Vac with Cart (VJE1412SW0201)
This 5hp vac and the VacMaster 6 are both suitable for a large area. An electric vacuum pump with a 5-hp motor. There is no difference between them. In addition to the stainless steel tank, the VacMaster has a rubberized bag A hard plastic take was used in the DeWalt. They will not rust.
The DeWalt hose was thinner and more comfortable- A higher quality product. There is almost a 1-inch difference between the DeWalt and the Bosch filters There is a snapping action on the DeWalt hose. The cord storage is the same on both vacuums In contrast to DeWalt, which has a large handle on its top, VacMaster has two cord clips A total of 8" is the diameter of each rear wheel. As opposed to the DeWalt, this is an enclosed form and this is an open form. Now on to the meat of the matter- In order to determine HVAC air pressure, I used a specialist HVAC air pressure indicator. FPM could not be gauged at the opening of the vacs or hose since they were too powerful, so I devised a simple jig that kept that instrument about 4 inches away. I then checked the FPM as I previously mentioned. The DeWalt vac was under 360 degrees when it opened up in the vacs It was 390 at the end of the DeWalt hose As the VacMaster entered the stainless steel opening, it was delivering 450 FPM, but dropped to 350 FPM at the other end. You will be assigned a rating of 5HP (for all that you do). It is my opinion that either of these vacuums will pick up the fur right off of No, I don't know. The DeWalt convinced me to keep it since I could see the SS tank of the VacMaster slowly getting all dented and dented up over time. I also found that the DeWalt hose was more substantial and easier to navigate than the VacMaster.
The only thing that needs to be changed is a small one. The shop vac I own is definitely the strongest I have ever used. It does have one weakness, as other reviewers have mentioned, but it is that the bags cannot be attached very securely. Overall, the construction of the cart seems adequate, and it can handle heavy loads of whatever gets sucked up. Placement of the switch is convenient, there is a liquid drain, and the filters are easy to change, and they do not seem to clog up as often as shop vacs do. Moreover, the cord is an exceptionally long length. Although it's not perfect, it's not the worst. It also has a non-typical type of hose lock, which could make it difficult to add an aftermarket or replacement hose. I think it could be updated a bit, too, if the extensions and fittings are upgraded. It is functional, but it is not a big selection and it is cheap. A major disappointment for me about this otherwise decent vacuum is the fact that after using it frequently but not gruelingly for a couple weeks, one of the clips that lock the head to the canister has broken. The clips are very cheaply made from what I see from the outside. However, from what I can tell, it appears I can improvise an easy modification in order to make them more rugged. Anyway, if there are no other problems, it will be a warranty return.
I use it in a small hobby Here are two problems I have Because there is no swivel connector on the end of the hose that connects to the attachments (because of this, when using the attachments, you often have to stretch out the heavy large hose and twist it to direct the attachments) In addition to consistently cleaning the filter and securing the drum as much as possible, I ensured the drum was relatively clean. In my call with product support, I explained the issue and was put on hold for 20 minutes at which point I ended In the past, I owned a ShopVac Contractor model that lasted for many years. It was a mistake to purchase the Vacmaster instead of another ShopVac.
