Hoover 4010050N Disposable Bag Adapter Kit for Portapower Cleaner

It has only been a year since I bought this last version, CH30000. Although the adapter piece fits within the enclosure, it does not seal around it. After using it for some time, I noticed the suction disappeared, and when I opened the top, I found all the dirt had been sucked directly into the vacuum around the white adapter. After some investigation, I found an inexpensive solution which was to cut some adhesive weatherstripping below its original size so it fitted the outside Now I have proper suction and a good seal, thanks to it. In addition, you must take this extra step in order to make it work. In other words, if you don't like it, you won't like You can see my picture here.

My vacuum was used several times with the cloth reusable bag provided, but I did not like constantly having to keep it cleaned. A paper disposable bag adapter was readily available to me so that I could use paper bags. I immediately purchased it. My order (along with 5 size N bags) arrived today. So I took a chance since it was about the same price as ordering the bags by themselves. This device converts the vacuum to use a disposable bag with no loss of suction and less mess when cleaning up afterwards. For those of you who plan on buying a Hoover CH30000 PortaPower Lightweight Commercial Canister Vacuum, I strongly recommend adding to your order with this accessory, less mess, less cleaning, it is a perfect fit.

We purchased a paper bag adapter kit in order to use the CH30000 portapower cleaner with paper bags due to allergies. As there was no instruction manual with the adapter kit, Hoover was contacted via their 1-800 number for assistance Please call 800. There is a customer service number of 9200. In the end, after a long wait, the representative informed me there was no adapter kit for a replacement cloth bag and that the adaptors were for the wand My connection was then lost. When I tried again on my own, the black gasket would not roll over the paper bag when I placed it on the adapter so eventually, the gasket was placed on the bag first and then rolled back onto the white plastic adapter. I found this very poor "customer service. " As well as the vacuum having tracks inside, finding out which track to place the paper bag on so it would go all the way into the vacuum was confusing. There is nothing like the higher-quality, but larger, Wind Tunnel canister that was once a great fit for this efficiency apartment. The non-Hepa converter disappoints after the Wind Tunnel canister was a better fit.

Re-used has been an important part of our process This vacuum cleaner comes with a vacuum cleaner filter bag that is good for about another I smell like an ancient cat every time I use this machine to clean the house. Just tried out the disposable bag adapter kit, and I think it works perfectly. Dusty cats aren't being blown away by the vacuum I am using a newly designed bag, so there is more suction from the exhaust and air is being pushed out of it. Additionally, replacing the bags is easier since I only have to pull them off of the plastic adapter rather than digging my fingers into a reusable filter full of dead skin cells and cat hair, pulling it out and then trying to shake out their contents into the garbage (and inhaling dust). It is not difficult for me to shake out the paper bags if I want to reuse them.

The original bags are great, but I have pets, so the bag must be washed constantly. I find it easier to do that with paper bags. The cloth bag was shipped by the vendor, but I got the adaptor and paper bags from Prime, while the paper bags were delivered by Amazon. I am in a foreign country, I cannot share my information. It is more economical order the other cloth bag later rather than have multiple shipments.

The first time I used this item, and checking the bag, I discovered that the rubber ring that holds it in place wasn't in place. Rubber bands work great instead, so I replaced them with fat rubber bands. My vacuum will have to make do. I am thinking of switching to a dust bag instead as the bags are prone to filling quickly because of the large size and the amount of use mine will receive.

I have an old portapower vacuum that I haven't used in a while There has been a decline probably since the 1960s. In spite of my dislike for emptying reusable vacuum bags, I was glad to find a paper bag adapter and paper bags online, but the adapter was slightly oversized and would not latch fully, so I had to sand the edges to make the door close properly. Approximately 30 minutes were needed to complete this task by hand. In spite of carefully removing only a small portion of the rim of the bag, the hard, plastic adapter does not seal against the bag door the way the thick, rubber rim of the cloth bag does, allowing less suction to be drawn out of the bag. After purchasing the adapter, I've discovered that the cloth bag is a convenient and easy to use. To empty it, turn it inside-out in a plastic grocery bag, and rinse it with a Retrospectively, I wish I had saved my money by not purchasing the adapter and bag. As soon as I have them, I plan on using them occasionally for dirtier jobs and when the cloth bag is drying after rinsing.

I think this is awesome! enjoy this vacuum cleaner because it helps me in my daily life. If it gets full, I just put another bag in and throw the old one away rather than waste time trying to figure out what to do with the original bag. It's lot less messy this way!.
