It doesn't have the same amount of surface area as a filter cartridge. By blowing off the cartridge and using compressed air to clean the inside back, you can easily clean it. So bags are fine if you're picking up large particles. However, because it is dust, only a quarter bag may be available.

These bags are necessary if you use your shop vac to collect fine dust and powder, such as drywall dust. So far, I've used a couple of these bags while working on our fixer-upper. upper house and shop interior- The vacuum cleaner is immaculately clean. It's a breeze to clean up after drywall work. They filter finer particles than the less expensive white bags, but the extra cost is well worth it for better dust containment. These bags are highly recommended if your vacuum can use them. br>br>There is one caveat that I must mention. Make sure these bags aren't overflowing. If you do, the bags will tear at the filler neck, and you'll have to clean up the mess you were trying to avoid inside the vac. Also, even if you're using these bags, make sure you're using a filter!.
The product is in perfect condition, and the advertisement claims that you will receive two packs of two packs - which is correct. That means you'll get a total of four individual bags, in my opinion. That appears to be incorrect (deceptive), as the price of $22 only gets you two bags. I had more than enough suction for my drywall sander using these and a HEPA cartridge filter installed in my Shop Vac. There was no powder on the HEPA cartridge. The dust was caught and contained by the bags, which was a nice touch.
I was cleaning my furnace as well as general floor and wall cleaning. The material used was not extremely fine, as I only burn about 500 gallons of fuel per year.
