It's not too loud, but you'd have to turn it off if you wanted to have a conversation. We use it in a retail store, and the noise level isn't unbearable, but it's also not a quiet vacuum; it's on par with most vacuums I've used.

The vacuum is "fine" on this machine, but it is very limited

It vacuums and is lighter than my previous vacuum, but it is rigid and awkward, and it comes with no attachments. It does not fold down low enough to fit under furniture and CANNOT be used on stairs, furniture, drapes, blinds, or other similar items. br>The bag system is nice, and I like the long cord. br>I will not buy another when this one dies, and will most likely have to buy a companion cleaner because this one is SO LIMITED. That will cost me more than simply purchasing a "fancier" machine in the first place.
