Yes. The Made in USA can be seen if you zoom in on the image.
The pan measures 12 inches in width and 8 inches in depth. The handle measures approximately 6 inches in length. It's constructed well.
If you're cautious, you won't have any problems. I wouldn't drop it on a wooden floor because it's metal. Otherwise, everything should be fine.
Yes, I believe that is correct. Because the handle is tapered, the end of the handle would also need to be tapered. You could screw a screw into the "Hole" in the handle.

Having grown up before the heyday of plastic everything and served in the Navy, I can attest to the fact that ALL of those cheap, throw-away items were a complete waste of money. Dustpans were cast aside (and are now likely to end up in landfills). This resembles Mom's dustpan in appearance. Her trusted steel dustpan outlasted her when she died in 2017. You can feel this dustpan and know it's a tool that won't go away for a long time, whether you're an environmentalist or a utilitarian (or both), because it makes better floor contact and allows you to collect whatever you've swept up with less effort.
This dustpan appears to be under-marketed. It would be a fantastic dustpan regardless of where it was made or how it was stamped. "Made in U. S. A. " was written on the label. A". I purchased it to clean a basement area that required a lot of work. The floor is flat, but I was using it as a shovel and a dustpan at the same time. It won't withstand being run over by a car, but it is a heavy-duty, attractive dustpan. The handle is formed as part of the overall stamping procedure. I didn't notice any burrs on the edge, which was level across the lip where it met the floor. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. I purchased model 58143 in case there were different widths.
The damage was caused by a sharp burr left over from the manufacturing process. This one must have escaped the notice of QC.
When cleaning the brooders on a daily basis, we always use a dustpan to scoop out the spent shavings. The ducklings get their shavings soaked through and through. It's what they're good at. It makes the shavings heavier, which causes plastic dust pans to break. which irritates me to no end. I'm not sure why it didn't occur to me before now. This metal dust pan, on the other hand, is extremely durable and does a fantastic job. It was also very reasonably priced.
With plastic dustpans, which are all I could find locally, metal/aluminum chips cutting fluids/oils can be a real problem. The giant Aluminum ones are my least favorite because they are too flimsy and easily damaged. I was relieved to discover that a good Steel dustpan could still be found on Amazon. The construction of this dustpan is excellent. It's made of steel and coated with what appears to be a long-lasting finish. I've had it for about a month and a half, and it gets used every other day in the shop without showing any signs of wear. It's nice and flat, so you can get the finer details that the big, thick rubbermaid I tried couldn't. I've used it in the shop, garage, and barn, and it's perfect. This dustpan will most likely outlast me and be passed down to the next generation. My Grandfather left me another steel metal dustpan, which is still in good working order. This is essentially a carbon copy of the previous one. It's made in the United States, and you'll be glad you paid a little more for it. Definitely buy one right now!.
Perfect until I realized it didn't sit evenly on the floor, allowing dirt to get under the dustpan when I swept. This product flaw does not sit well with me.
For $6, you can get a decent metal dustpan. For the price, they can't be beat; they're just a smidgeon smaller than my vintage dustpans but just as durable. The handle is a little smaller in diameter, which is always an issue. It's too small for a standard broom handle, and it's too small for a man-sized broom handle. Overall, it's a great deal, and I'd recommend it without hesitation.
What makes this the best dustpan is that it has the following features: This dustpan reminds me of the dustpans that were popular in the 1960s and 1970s. A heavy-duty all-metal dustpan that is built to last. br>It doesn't have the obnoxious rubber piece attached to it. It's perfectly level with the ground. Unless someone steals it or I misplace it, I believe this dustpan will last a lifetime.
