In the picture, you can see the state of the threaded end of this item when it was received. As a consumer, it is hard to imagine how a product in this condition could have passed inspection at the factory, never mind being sold to a customer by its manufacturer.
As soon as I screwed it into an electric broom head, I observed it crumbled. A $10 stick is now all it costs. I ended up getting a wooden handle with metal threads for $5 from a hardware store. It would have been fine for me to buy a new $15 broom at this point.
I found this to be really low quality. It's not straight, and it has a rough.
Because it was recommended to be used with wire moss scrapers, I bought it. As you can see, the screw in part is too large and won't fit in my motor so it's completely useless to me. I found that it didn't fit any of my broom heads. I think there may be some clarity here about how it won't fit 99% of what you would expect it to fit. However, I am not a broom handle professional, so I relied on the thing that told me where to buy it. There is no way I can return the box it came in. I'll give you ten dollars.
Together with the Harper Brush 10804A 12-inch, this gave me the perfect match Five-inch indoor upright broom provided with a handle that was too short for me as a petite person A tall guy who is 11 feet tall. My lucky number turned out to be 54- I measured and guesses a lot, but I got lucky with it This handle is an inch wide.
Broom handles go a long way, and this one is a great choice!.
I give it 5 stars because it fitted like a glove. The brooms fit great, and I'm ordering three more to replace some bad handles I found on other push brooms around the farm.
Hardware stores are hard to come by these days since there are so few of them.
