I was going to screw the handle to the handle, but found it too loose. I used epoxy and screws to secure it. Eventually, it became too weak and pushing down on it to keep the squeegee flat on the floor caused it to snap I now have an useless and broken squeegee and handle, which was a waste of time and money.

Despite the fact that I had a complaint, this handle is an excellent substitute for the broken one. A wood handle of this type could be used for a variety of items, even if it is intended for a particular product. I had to replace the handle on my leaf rake (at a large knot) because it cracked. As I purchased to be used with a 36 inch squeegee, the product was not intended for that much force and pressure this was my fault more than the product itself. The product is intended for lighter duty use.
