What type of lacquer is used on the handle?

Despite its semi-gloss finish, the handle is textured. There is probably a polyurethane finish on it. Given that the handle could get wet, I doubt it is made of lacquer, because lacquer cannot resist water.

NO, THEY ARE NOT 72" tall, they are I thought that I was getting a longer handle because I thought that this was a 60" handle

I could have found 60" handles for half the price. You can purchase a handle from anywhere else as long as the size doesn't matter. It is overpriced.
