Make sure your Flexbrew is up to date. An item with the hole in the center of the bottom is available. We have the hold offset from center on our Flexbrew. A Flexbrew with offset holes cannot be used with this basket. The model number on ours is not visible, but it was purchased in December of this year.

It seems that the spring inside the basket of my HB Flexbrew has broken. In order to replace my previous model, I purchased this one. It is not the proper place to put the spring. When I close the lid, it takes a lot of pressure to do so. Moreover, the spring button does not fit tightly enough, so it immediately starts to brew coffee. The coffee pot should stay in place if you don't forget to do so. Because the flow of coffee is not stopped, I cannot remove it to pour a quick cup or it will create a huge mess.
This was a replacement for the manufacturer, but when it was put into the coffee maker it got stuck in the hole where the pot sits on the.
After years of using this coffee maker, the plastic washer that held the filter basket spring in place broke off. Alternatively, you can order this basket to just replace the entire washer instead of just getting a replacement Our new one came in, but after running it through the dishwasher on the first day, the washer popped off and we were unable to locate it. I have yet to use it. This is not a place I will use I'm going to the Home Depot to get the dishwasher a new washer.
I'm not concerned about the pause and serve, but since I had to remove it, there is a large hole, so coffee tends to run down the side sometimes.
In order to replace the one that was included in my FlexBrew package, I bought a replacement. No store in my area had one. Added it to my Amazon wishlist! I am so happy! FlexBrews can be reused without having to buy new ones.
On the basket, the spout lies centered but in the coffee maker it lies off center. Neither time nor money are worth it.

We received these brew baskets from a third party and they were awful! Our coffee maker would not make any coffee and the glasses seemed to not fit properly like the original. In this situation, the flow of water in the brew basket was not properly controlled, so water filled up and spilled. You should not buy anything! You will find Hamilton Beach on the right.
