The regular version isn't something I've ever tried, so I would have no idea. My only experience is that the Pro Version works really well!
My knowledge of this is limited. During my visits home I have used it for indoor odors, though I have not experienced odors as strong as paint yet.
It has worked well for me when I sprayed it on my cat's litter with regular strength The consequences. Don't be afraid to spray lightly and frequently. It isn't until they see her that they know about my cat.

The anti-mildew spray Zero Odor PRO helps you get rid of mildew smells from your carpeting. Before purchasing Zero Odor, we recommend that you test it in an inconspicuous location to make sure that color fastness is not a problem. If the area has been thoroughly tested, the best way to remove the odor/mildew is to thoroughly wipe it with a damp sponge/cloth and warm water (without chemicals) and allow it to dry (you can force dry with a hair dryer the surface is completely dry, spray moderately with Zero Odor and let dry. *For your safety, please spray a couple of times depending on how deep the odor/mildew has penetrated. As a former user of this product, I still have some of the older versions of this product left over from early 2018. They worked well and caused no problems. I just ordered a new batch in 2018, and I noticed a distinct smell from the first use. Using traditional Zero odor for the last fifteen years was an obvious choice. There's no comparison to other products like it, and I wish I could buy it by the 55 gallon drums! The formula stands up to the claims it makes! had sprayed my Coach luggage. After applying Zero odor and praying, I was able to see clearly. It would be impossible to tell what happened once dry!
