The product works perfectly to prevent odors in my trash can. I highly recommend it. We collect trash in a container provided by the city once a week, and it is collected in the container. Deodorizing with Dumpster Pro is essential, so make sure to use the product. My subscription list at Amazon has been updated to include this- This product is a must have! Earlier this year, I bought a 7lb. bag of nuts. We lined our dumpster with half of a plastic bottle, putting the rest in the recycling container. I put this deodorizer in the dumpster a week after I put it in, so I can say it was mostly effective until the dumpster was emptied a week later. I'd estimate it was effective for at least seven days, if not more.
There is still a strong smell of garbage in the air.
