Your "largest competitor" has been my source of mop for years and recently got me one of yours. I dip the pads into the solution and let them sit for a while. If you squeeze out too much water, you might not be able to get all the water out to do an entire room. You can always squeeze out a little bit more water each time until it is wett enough. As a result, I have been able to get enough pads for each room in my house. I just throw them all in the washing machine. For years I was forced to use a spray mop with just two pads for my whole house, but I hated having to rinse the pads between every room! If I had known about this system years ago, I would have taken advantage of it. Despite being washable and durable, the pads retain their shape well after washing. Additionally, I make sure using fabric softener isn't overdone and that I avoid overdrying them. In addition, do not wash the pads with anything other than other microfiber materials.

There is a closet full of various mops in my apartment that proves my love of clean floors. The other mop system I was using for several months last year got thrown out after I discovered this mop system. I wished I had extra mop pads once I started using it. Because the mop pads came with the mop, I tried a couple of other brands because they were less expensive, but realized rapidly that the ones that came with the mop were much better. It was just last week that I ordered these additional pads. My new ones are the exact same as the ones that came with the mop initially, and they are superior to Their thickness and absorbency makes them more absorbent than the other mop heads. So they stay on the mop better.
