My red one is 9 and I'm pretty sure it's a communication error. Inside, there are 25 spaces at the top, 8 spaces at the bottom, and 7 spaces in the middle. 5 tall.
It's not insignificant, but it's not insignificant either. It appears to be about 10 x 10 x 9 inches at most, with markings inside indicating a 6 quart capacity and about an inch of space between the top and bottom. I can't promise I gave you the correct measurements, but I would have preferred a larger bucket to account for slop when carrying it. But it's a good-looking, sturdy bucket.
There isn't any PVC in it.
My bucket arrived without a handle, which was a huge disappointment!

Sorry, I made a mistake. I know how much 6 quarts is, but the photo on the website where I bought it makes the bucket appear much larger than it is. It's fine as far as buckets go, but it's far too small to be useful. In the future, I'll be more aware.
