However, it worked perfectly when I turned the bucket over with the small end facing down. The water took on the exact shape of the inside of the bucket, and it all poured out at the bottom. The top of the water was level when I finished filling it. The water then remained in the container until I poured it out. It worked consistently every time I tried it. I only gave it four stars because this bucket relies on gravity to function, and you must provide the gravity because its internal gravity is insufficient for off-grid use. There is no cover for this planet. However, for Earth use, as long as the "top" is kept up, it will be fine. Beware: Due to the fact that this is a bucket, please avoid kicking it. It has been proven that kicking the bucket is bad for your health.
When using a sponge mop, it will not work. The advertisement stated that there were ten available. I measured my sponge mop and it was 9 inches in diameter, so I figured it would suffice. Advertisement that is deceptive 10. The bucket narrows to 9 inches and then narrows even more as it tapers in toward the bottom. 25 inches only goes down two inches for the expanded lip, then the bucket narrows to 9 inches and narrows even more as the bucket tapers in toward the bottom. Bottom line, a sponge mop with a 9-inch diameter will not work.
This was purchased with the intention of performing aquarium water changes. Nothing seemed out of place when I first opened it. I went to fill it with tap water today, and it immediately started sudsing up with bubbles and a horrible chemical smell, almost like turpentine, started coming off of it. Worse yet, when I went to move it, some of it splashed on my skin. I'm not sure what chemical got on my skin or what I should do about it. I'm furious, and I can't seem to find anyone who can help me.
It's a bucket, as you might have guessed. What isn't to like about Rubbermaid? )br>br>Seriously, I was looking for a well-known, well-known, well-known well-known well-known well-known well-known well-known well-known well-known well-known well Bucket was made for home use, to be carried around with soapy water and a rag for wiping down surfaces, so it needed to be neither too small nor too large (sort of like the Goldilocks dilemma). The majority of the buckets I found were either too large (4 or 5 gallons or more) or too small (1 gallon). br>br>With a capacity of 10 quarts (2 1/2 gallons), this bucket was nearly perfect! Plus, because it's bright red, it'll be difficult to miss in my garage or in the depths of my cleaning supply closet, and it's a cheerful color that will make cleaning around the house a little less dreary! br>br>2 rubber-coated steel-coated steel-coated steel-coated steel-coated steel-co thumbs up in a soapy glove!.
This bucket is fantastic for cleaning. I like how thick it is and how well it can withstand being transported in a car that is bouncing around. This bucket is what I use to clean the insides of cars. Unlike the cheaper ones at Wal-Mart, the handle is very secure and sturdy. Look at the quality of the bucket's thickness and handle in comparison to the cheaper ones sold in retail stores in the pictures I've posted. If you're a professional, you'll want to keep this bucket on hand.
It arrived broken, with a sticker from another store halfway ripped off. To get rid of the sticker, I used Goo Be Gone. I will not buy from this seller in the future. The bucket itself is fine, but it is made of thinner plastic, which makes it feel as if the handle will break off if it is filled to the brim with water.
I wanted to use it to refill the water bowls of my dogs. The bucket I received was filthy, and I'm still hesitant to use it to refill my dogs' water bowls because I don't know what had been in it previously. I use it for a variety of purposes. It's sturdy and simple to transport and pour. However, grease is difficult to remove. It's still got whatever was in it when they mailed it to me. It's been a long time since we've seen each other.
This bucket was purchased solely for the purpose of changing the water in my aquarium. It is extremely well-built and made of durable materials. Inside the bucket are volume markers that make it simple to mix solutions or measure fluid amounts. I thought $10 was a bit much for a plastic bucket, but after seeing the quality, I'm glad I went ahead and bought it. Rubbermaid is a brand that lives up to its name.
