Original Scrub Daddy (round ones) are my favorite. The sponges aren't as strong or durable as I'd like them to be. I hope this has been of assistance.
Even after a month and a few weeks (when the scrubby part wears off, I throw the old one away), mine don't smell. When I'm not using it, I keep it away from water to allow it to dry naturally. In addition, after I've finished washing my dishes, I squeeze out all of the excess detergent and water. I've had mine for a year and they've never reeked. I'm not sure if it's because of the procedure I use or because of the sponge's design. In any case, I hope my response has been of assistance. If you've already done everything I've suggested, you could send the seller a message.
I prefer them for scrubbing in general.
A thin layer of scrubby material is attached to a sponge on the scrubby side. I like them for dishwashing, but the scrubby side isn't as long-lasting as the smiley side.

They're fantastic, and they don't stink up the place. Because the scrubber part of it fades first (I don't have a washer, so I wash dishes several times a day), I have to stop using the sponge altogether after a month and a half to two months. On toilets, I still use the sponge. Since October 2017, I've been using the first pack of four sponges, and I'm still on the last sponge. That's how long they last. It will take me over a year to use these three packs of four. No matter how filthy they become or how much you use them, they always remain clean, odor-free, and in good shape. To be honest, these sponges are the best I've ever used, and they've saved me a lot of money because I used to throw away regular sponges every two weeks. Another big plus is that I've noticed that I don't need as much detergent as I did with regular sponges. On their own, these generate a lot of foam. I should point out that I've also had the original Scrub Daddy. It doesn't sit well with me. It does everything it says it will, but because I've used it so much, I've widened the eyes and mouth to the point where it's no longer usable. The eyes and moith, on the other hand, were extremely useful to me, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone who washes dishes every day like I do. You won't be sorry if you stick with these Sponge Daddys. The pictures I took of the sponge after it had been used nonstop for three weeks. Thank you, by the way, for delivering it seven days ahead of schedule.
They deteriorate quickly, with the scrubby part flaking off. The worst part is that the tiny bits end up in the water supply, endangering wildlife and causing serious environmental damage.
Just for fun, I ordered a few during the holidays. The original Scrub Daddy is one of my favorites. The sponge is a squishy, low-cost sponge. Any adversity is too much for the scrubby side of the house. When I tried to use it on a sticky cookie sheet, the scrubby stuff began to slough off instead of cleaning the sheet. This happened when a new sponge was used. br>With another brand, sponges last so long that we have to decide whether or not to keep them. We have a dishwasher for most things, so these only last about a week. br>It was a huge letdown.
For a long time, I was a staunch supporter of 3M's blue sponges-- The light blue ones with the darker blue scrubby side, but 3M sponge quality appears to have declined in recent years. As a result, I went on the hunt for a new one. br>br>I tried a variety of sponges, all of which were unsatisfactory, before coming across the Scrub Daddy brand, which I had avoided for a long time because I dislike the way they look and find the packaging and name irritating. But, to my surprise, these sponges work even better than the 3M sponges. The Scrub Daddy sponges have a unique texture that sets them apart from other sponges. When they're dry, they're stiffer, and when they're wet, they're squishier. If you're used to other types of sponges, you'll have to adjust to their feel. However, unlike other sponges, they do not become slimy. When a Scrub Daddy is getting close to the end of its life, it just starts to fall apart, and it seems to last longer than other sponges I've used. br>br>Now that I've tried them, I want to recommend them to others who haven't. They are a high-quality item.
Look at the product description to see if these are advertised as disposable or single-use. (They aren't) to make use of They could just as well be - Almost immediately, they begin to fall apart. In my photo, the sponge had already been used twice. If you're debating whether or not to buy these, I'd recommend going with a product from a different manufacturer.
The Scrub Daddies have always been one of my favorite shows. The Scrub Daddy sponges are my first sighting. As a result, I decided to give them a go. br>I'm not a big fan of sponges because they get nasty and I have to throw them away. br>These are fantastic. One side has a sponge, while the other has a scrub daddy scrubber. They're simple to clean and rinse, and they don't get slimy or clog up with food particles. I use them for dishwashing because the scrubber is gentle enough for my ceramic pots and pans. They're a must-have in my new kitchen for wiping down the counters, cleaning the appliances, and so on. br>.
For the past year, I've been using these. This is a fantastic sponge, and I was hoping to fall in love with it. Approximately ten minutes of my time is spent on Doing dishes for 20 minutes a day is a good habit to get into. These sponges will last about 3 weeks if they continue at this rate. Some people would be able to move much more quickly. Some would be able to last a little longer than others. That means I was squandering a lot of sponges, which appears to be a waste. br>br>It's bad enough that they're thrown out, but they're also shedding plastic sponge pieces all the time, which are an annoyance when cleaning, as I frequently found myself cleaning off the sponge in addition to the food! However, the larger issue is all of the plastic that is being flushed down the drain in pieces that are too small to be filtered or removed effectively. Our ecosystem is awash in microplastics, and these sponges are an example of the products that are contributing to the problem. br>br>As much as I enjoyed using the sponges for the most part, they are extremely wasteful and unfriendly to the environment.
On Buzzfeed, these were lauded as one of the best sponges for their cleaning abilities and the fact that they didn't stink. They don't get stinky, I'll grant you that, but They don't absorb water very well, the rough side is almost too rough to use, and the sponge side falls apart (gets tears in it and loses pieces of sponge) in almost record time! I've been going through one every week, and I expected them to last longer; one of the reviews stated that they do. I've been very disappointed in them and will continue my search for something better.
