This is an alternative to metal as I was refinishing furniture and needed an alternative to sheet metal These scrubbers are based on a liquid. Since it is made of plastic rather than metal, it has more abrasiveness, but doesn't rust. I've found it lasts longer than a metal-encrusted pad. You can choose to use the version based on your preferences. My stripping tool kit has been enhanced by the addition of this tool.
A scouring pad has been used in the kitchen by the wife. It's synthetic, so there's no rust, and it's easy to use This brush lasts a great deal of time and will not scratch metal pots or pans when used with a reasonable downward pressure. I love it!.
During this project, I did not experience any shredding and felt that it worked so much better than regular steel wool.
I found it to be more effective than I anticipated. On an old wooden stock, I used it to smooth out a tough spot and to remove surface rust from a gun barrel. The steel wool did not stick to my fingers as it usually does when it sticks to things. Also used the steel wool to clean a bunch of Apply WD-40 to a little area As soon as I sprayed 40 on the blades I was able to wipe everything off each knife and ensure that they looked good again without having undue scarring. tool is a must have in the toolbox of any handyman.
A product that was defective in the most egregious way possible! The pad had random pebbles embedded in it. The thought of losing my mind constantly frightened me.
A finish that makes stained and poly'd wood look better between coats, but doesn't really remove a lot. I really like this.
This is an excellent.
In the same way as Synthetic Steel Wool, it does not leave steel particles behind.
